Many on the right will claim that Scott Walker is the conservative that this country needs for leadership. While he might be a conservative, he certainly not one who would stand up to special interests. To see this, one only needs to look at his stance on the stadium deal for the Milwaukee Bucks. To build this stadium, the government will effectively hand tens of millions of dollars to the owners of the Bucks. This handout will include the selling of the land on which the stadium will be built, valued over 9 million, for a dollar.
If conservatives were truly concerned about crony capitalism and free markets, they may want reconsider their support for Walker.
