Tis the season to be outraged

BooHooWith the conclusion of Halloween, the next season officially begins.  No, I’m not talking about what most of us would consider the holiday season.  No, I am talking about the outrage season.  This is the time of year when political pundits and “concerned” Christians air their outrage at people who do not celebrate the season as they think it should be celebrated.

The current target of this outrage is Starbucks.  Rather than have cups with various symbols, none of which were specific to Christianity, Starbucks rolled out red cups with no symbols.  That’s right, Christians are getting upset at a boring red cup.

Forget about all of the other Christmas oriented products they sell.  We need to boycott Starbucks for having overpriced coffee in boring red cups.
